Flooring is the second of 6 songs being released Summer 2023. It will be released July 18th and will be on all DSPs. The song has a deep, mysterious sound to it, punctuated by a smooth, vibrant bass drop, and an energetic build into a second "drop," which takes the listener up from the ground to one platform then to the next. The vocal chops driving the rhythm of the song provide a slightly off-kilter feel to it, which is smoothed out by the ever-present electric piano. It was made with the intention of touching on a feeling of unease within all of us after such a tumultuous couple of years. The world is filled with uncertainty and existential horror, but within all of us is a yearning to untether ourselves from those fears through movement and self-expression.
